What is the Freeride Program?
The Freeride Program is designed for skiers who are ready to continue progressing their skills, explore more of the mountain, and build confidence skiing a variety of terrain and conditions. Freeride focuses on all-mountain skiing, technical skill development, and learning how to safely progress skills both on the snow and in the air.
Athletes work with our professional coaching staff to develop strong skiing technique while learning to navigate changing terrain and conditions. Training may include directed free skiing, technical drills, terrain exploration, bumps, powder, hardpack, and introductory air skills. Our goal is to help athletes become confident, capable, and independent all-mountain skiers while having fun and challenging themselves.
Freeride provides an opportunity for skiers to continue developing beyond the All-Mountain Program while exploring a different side of skiing. Athletes are encouraged to challenge themselves at their own pace and build the skills and confidence needed to safely progress throughout the season.
